Felix isn't really explained but he was hiding somewhere if he's alive in your playthrough and he actually never betrayed you, he was willing to sacrifice himself for Fiona and Sasha so they can get the blame on him with Vallory and not have anyone chase them for the money. August - Fiona said that after the Vault, they just patched him up and they lived their normal lifes. The future parts of the story happen a lil while after that. Athena didn't die, Brick and Mordecai just captured her so Lilith can interrogate her and ask her some questions. EP3's ending with Athena ties in with the beginning (and ending) of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. other than that details it was good finale. especially for athena, last time i saw her she was beaten up and almost dead. It was kinda odd to find them again and team up again all of a sudden. such as what happened to felix, athena or agust after they closed down the vault in sandstorm. Originally posted by teambigboss:I liked the ending but it skips a lot of gaps. After that you can choose a replacement member (and you can buy the secret Vault Hunter)

If you choose him in your Vault Hunter team, you'll get 9M from the armoire and he explains to you what I just said.

The armoire fell during EP2's intro and that wasn't the plan at all. He replaced the real money with fake when Fiona was out cold for a bit in the caravan in EP1, then he put the real money in an armoire in the caravan.

Really wish Rhys talked to her before going into the vault.Īnyway, I'm gonna agree with and say that I enjoyed the ending and the game in general a great deal :) Her romance option could've been a little more fleshed out, but still, what we got was a great kind of experience, and it's really hard not to like her. At that point, no matter what was inside, it would've been a disappointment in comparison to all the awesome weapons, treasures and monsters we've just seen.Īs I mentioned in a similar thread, one thing that made me feel sad is that I dind't have a chance for one last talk with Sasha.

I'm glad they didn't show the content of the vault, though. Yet, the ending didn't suprise me - the entire story, albeit cruel sometimes, was presented in such a way that I didn't expect anything less than a happy end. It's probably my least favourite game by them, and yet I still enjoyed the hell out of it and finished it in two sittings. Tales from the Borderlands is a much more light-hearted experience than the rest of the Telltale Games.
